Canada has the most intense inferiority complex out of any country on the planet. They are inferior to and dependent on the US in almost every way and Canadians are 40 times more likely to move to the US than Americans are to move to Canada, a huge number of talented and ambitious Canadians see through the propaganda and come to the US at their first opportunity. No country in the world is as dependent on an other country as Canada is on the US. And Canada has basically zero notable national accomplishments that compare with the vast list of paradigm-shifting contributions to the world that the US has.

Because of this position of geopolitical weakness Canadians have, being nearly completely reliant on the goodwill of their neighbor for their entire existence, Canadians, instead of being soberly grateful have overcompensated to salvage their pride and now their entire national identity is obsessing psychotically about the US being bad so that they can depict themselves as better by contrast. The idea that Canadians are better than Americans is the ends and means to Canada’s entire national collectivism.

Canadians are literally brainwashed. Their government has education and media laws that require Canadians to be indoctrinated with a litany of “identity enriching” concepts and all of it, without exception, boils down to depicting the US in comically negative ways and rewriting history and exaggerating Canada’s accomplishments.

Canada has essentially no serious self-criticism as a country. Any time there is any negative story about Canada or discussion about Canada’s past that is damaging to their pride, they will always divert attention to the US. Because Canadians can’t self-criticize as a country, and take immense pleasure and orient their entire worldview from criticizing the US, the vast majority of Canadians live in an alternate reality in their national consciousness.

An example that I think is hilarious is that the Canadian Space Agency had a PR campaign and as part of it they convinced Canadians that the CSA was the most advanced space program in the world during the Cold War and that all of NASA’s accomplishments were due to Canadians. They also boasted about being the 4th country in the world to launch a satellite (oddly to prove they were better than the US, who was second, but I digress) but Canada’s first satellite was launched BY THE US at a US Air Force Base. Canada has literally never launched a single object into space and yet their space agency was taking part in a government campaign to convince that Canada is better than the US for a reason as preposterously false as having a more advanced space program.

Canadians are easily the most moronically nationalistic people in the developed world. The unrealistically positive self-image they have as a nation is perhaps second only to North Korea.
