Throwaway time!
I(F18) just had my first check-up at the gynaecologist.
After months and years of being embarrassed to ask I finally broke through and went because I was extremely afraid I had vaginosis. I had been trying to experiment with penatration since 15 but it always ended with burning pain and only being able to put about 1/4 of my finger in. I have had countless breakdowns about being abnormal, did kegel exercises, read blogs, tried stretching the muscles, only for nothing to work. After 3 years I finally gathered the courage to ask my mom to book me a visit because I was deathly convinced I was suffering from vaginosis- a condition where your vagina muscles contract involuntarily making penetration impossible.
So, I go into the office, standard questionaire, time for examination.
I tell my doctor about my concern and she puts a finger into a place I was CONVINCED was my pee-hole and tells me there seems to be no problem.
Turns out I’ve been trying to stick a finger up my urethra for YEARS and wondered why it hurt.
Most embarrassing experience of my life.
