It’s sad to realize one of the few pastimes I enjoy has been cannibalized by Karens.

“Peruvian” is a blanket term for anyone in a game who connects from an outside region who can’t speak the language, and doesn’t have a good ping due to distance. It is not necessarily based on a hatred of a specific type of people, it is the simple note that those connecting from far away who cannot communicate diminish the enjoyment of a game.

So someone may say “fuckin’ russians…” because they live near russia and russians connect to their game and ruin the experience with high pings and by speaking a language that no one else can understand.

Does wanting to enjoy a match with teammates with decent pings and who speak the language so you can coordinate inherently make one racist?

No, not necessarily. Yes there are racist undertones, and the anger created from these scenarios could actually cause one to hate these people and breed racism I suppose. But simply saying “fucking peruvians” as a blanket statement for high pinged people queueing into your region who can’t speak your language does not indicate racism.

Imagine a world where the further someone lived the better ping they had, and if everyone spoke the same language. People would BEG people from other regions to join. This has NOTHING to do with a culture, or race, and everything to do with being able to communicate with others and pings.

But I doubt you’ll take the time to read this. Your prerogative is to hop online, make accusations of racism towards others, which can have terrible implications, for a few fleeting moments of moral superiority.

Fuck your closed mindedness and flippant accusations.

Fuckign armchair warriors everywhere ruining everything.
