What’s something that happened to me at school that I’ll always remember? Remember metal straws? Remember the turtles? Remember VISCO? Well I woke up one brisk friday morning to see what kind of mischief I could get up to that day. I opened my cabinet door to grab a snack but my thoughts were diverted when I spotted an unopened bag of plastic colored straws. When I got to school I started handing out the plastic straws to my friends and random people I saw, officially starting the “Just throw it in the recycle bin it’s not that hard movement.” To my misfortune the opposing party did not take a liking to my movement and plastic straws were officially banned in school. Luckily I had not yet put a face to the “Just throw it in the recycle bin it’s not that hard movement.” I started to deal my straws under the table, I knew in the coming days someone would tell the wrong person who I was and I would be caught, I built a tight knit group of people to help distribute my straws, but the day of reckoning had come. I was caught with a fresh bag of straws, the “Just throw it in the recycle bin it’s not that hard movement,” was over. I solemnly walked into the principal’s office awaiting my punishment, I was charged with a level one referral for illegally dealing straws.
