Story time. When I was in my teens I went to the wto protest in seattle to document it for my school paper. On the street amidst the chaos a cop grabbed my arm, smashed my camera on the ground for no reason at all. I said “hey you can’t just break private property like that! I have rights!” The cop stopped, looked me dead in my eyes… then he drew his gun, pointing directly between my eyes from 2 feet away. He said in the coldest voice I ever heard, “Ya, what rights do you have? What law is going to save you now?” I almost fainted. Shock set in. He slowly put his gun down and said “Nothing, no laws. No rights, I could end you right now and go have a cheeseburger afterwards and nothing would happen to me.” I’ll never forget that as long as I live. And I will never pop off at the mouth to someone who can kill me. And i have no faith the law can protect me.

Right or wrong, don’t run your mouth to someone who can kill you. And dont expect the law to save you if you do.
