Of course. Math really is a very beautiful subject. I believe alot of teachers teach maths in the worst way possible, affecting lots of students’ mental health and confidence in the subject.. leading alot of people to turn blind to its beauty. I can’t blame the students.. I think anyone can learn math.. if it’s taught in the right way.

I think people should give maths a chance, give it some love.. explore the subject on their own, and first, build a rock solid foundation on the basic concepts and that’s VERY important, I think this part is the most troublesome for people as maths is a subject that builds on top of previous topics, and classes just move on from one topic to another even though not much people have understood what’s really going on.. and that’s very dangerous, it’s ok. Take your time, and just really understand math, why things are the way they are, take breaks while learning and use other resources too if one teaching style doesn’t suit you, that’s ok, maybe look at some other resources and check if their teaching style suits you more. Look what’s interesting in the topic you’re learning, their applications, maybe some more interesting questions from that topic, etc, that’ll hopefully make you more interested and confident, maybe go deeper into your topic once you’ve made yourself comfortable with the concept and learned the rules of the game. Watch some interesting looking math videos on YouTube too while you’re at it, as math is such a broad subject, I’m preeety sure that math is involved in one way or other to your favourite thing, from game theory (it is the science of strategies, basically, using math to determine the best move to take to win in a game, almost any game) to literally finding real life criminals using equations… So almost anything you can think of, probably.

It’s ok if you stumble because some your rocks on your path everyone including you in your past have had those moments and we’ve moved on, so keep your composure things are not as hard as you think, things seem always hard when you don’t know much alot it. Anyways, don’t ignore that rock, actually remove it so you won’t stumble on that stupid rock when you go through that path again, trust me, when learning maths, you probably have to go through the same path over and over again, so try to make your paths smooth and comfortable i.e, make your concepts crystal clear, using internet resources, YouTube, your teacher, etc. Don’t stop until you’ve found that satisfactory answer, ask alot of questions and search them on Google, all these will hopefully get you more interested.

I know you can hardwork, I’ve seen alot of people spend hours and lots of efforts into games, their hobbies, etc. And that’s a solid proof that they can hardwork. Kids WILL work hard on the subject that they find beautiful and interesting, the hard part is really showing them/finding where the beauty lies in. It is harder to do that, especially math. Stereotyping is as “hard”, “boring” and “nerdy” by students and some teachers doesn’t help at all either, it turns down alot of people who have the potential to excel in math (which is… alot of people actually, if you have enough intelligence to understand literally 1 language and you can use a device like a mobile, I think you have enough logic to understand math ;), like I said, don’t stop till you fully understand how the formulas and everything really works and where they come from, just explore out in the wild math world as math is really not just about numbers, there’s just so much interesting things out there). When you finally open your eyes to that “mathematical beauty”, it’s heaven from there.. and then you’ll understand, “Hey! Maths wasn’t as hard as I thought!, I just had to keep a good attitude about it and give it some love :)”
