⚠️🚗💥🚙💨 Studies show that “road rage” is a factor in more than 50% of all car crashes that end in fatality. Of these crashes, 💯% involved the use of the car horn in at least one of the cars involved. 💯👏🏻. %👏🏻. Often times, it is in fact the horn noise itself that catalyzes people into rage in the first place.

That is why I am calling for COMMON SENSE horn regulation. My proposed “Cage the Rage” bill caps a car horn’s sound output to 60 decibels, since the data clearly demonstrates the current 107-109 decibels is unnecessarily excessive and is contributing to the loss of lives. Further, we’ve found current horn sounds to be too alarming, aggressive, and sometimes scary which is why this bill institutes a horn buyback program. Upon shipping your horn to HELL (Horny Elected Legitimate Leaders), you’ll receive a replacement clown 🤡 horn in the mail within 6-9 months FREE OF CHARGE. During this time we will temporarily suspend the law that requires cars to have a functioning horn to be road legal as to minimize the inconvenience this may cause. Drivers are encouraged to call 9-1-1 if they feel another car is about to collide with them (if they can make the call handsfree, of course). Officers of the law trained in road rage prevention will promptly arrive on scene 👮🏻‍♂️🚓🚨 with cars fitted with horns exempt from this regulation so that they can honk for you in order to prevent the collision from occurring.

Since we are looking at this issue from every angle, we fully acknowledge it is still possible that overuse of one’s new clown horn may still lead to road rage. To encourage proper use of said horns, each will be fitted with a device that tracks honk statistics 📊📈 that will be reviewed in a court of law following each accident to determine if any horn usage was proper or improper.

It is time for us to address the road rage epidemic by taking these COMMON SENSE measures to help save lives. And remember, common sense means you should already know this is the right thing to do.
