You know what I cannot stand? WINDOWS INSTALL USB. It infuriates me that it cannot do a simple task such as change the file system/format on a drive. I have to then make a linux live usb and go in and format them from there. It would be SO EASY for Microsoft to just allow the usb to format them to their proprietary homebrewed NTFS. EXFAT IS BETTER THAN NTFS AND IT WAS DESIGNED FOR USB DRIVES. Microsoft could allow windows to be installed on FAT32 if they really wanted to but NO. The future is ext4, it is open source and better than NTFS. What really is outdated though is MBR yet windows still pushes this archaic monolith of a boot sector. GPT is better in every way besides MAYBE backwards compatibility. 99% of drives come formatted in GPT windows says NO and forces a MBR which requires the aforementioned Linux live USB.
