I used to have some siblings that got into video games during their teenage phases, and while they swore at the time that the racing cars at high speeds and seeing men in low-cut tops (etc) didn’t negatively affect them in any way, the people they turned into only proved they were sorely mistaken.

Because they **started** video games and got together with all they’re gamer friends, and then that turned into marihuana (drug) ingestion. They got low-level, lifeless jobs as “car sales agents” where they worked on commission instead of having a stable income to feed their hypothetical future wives and children with, like a doctor or lawyer would have, and every part of their life just started deteriorating. Keep in mind the video games were present here the whole time, the gateway drug…

And then the sexual intercourse started. With their gamer friends, and also with their co-“workers” (if you can even call them that) they started going out to clubs on nights they didn’t have to work the next say, consuming alcoholic beverages, and bringing girls into their own bedrooms to defile them.

And it didn’t stop there. They were slowly consumed by their desire for money, and started working longer hours for exponentially more (unstable and highly volatile) “pay” so that they could keep having fun on the weekend. The regular marihuana smokes turned into “weed brownies” that could easily kill a 5-year old child if they got to even one of them, as well as doing bomb rips and ingesting the marihuana that way.

They started having more and more sexual intercourse with more and more women, bringing them back every other night, each more attractive than the last, and sometimes with two or three at once. They felt desired, they felt loved and appreciated, they had all the money in the world, but I know deep down in my heart that even though they **seemed** happy on the outside, they were dying on the inside.

And why, do you ask, were they dying on the inside? Because of video games. Sure, it seems innocent, just like crystal meth, but in the end you guys are only going to hurt yourself. I’ve quit looking at or associating with people who play video games and (honestly) it’s been for the better. I’m happy, my dog is happy, and I’ve actually taken up gardening recently.

 That’s true happiness, gardening.
