You see, there is a man named Elmer Fudd. Elmer Fudd is a hardworking man looking forward to his restful retreat in the beautiful nature on the countryside, though he wishes to enjoy his vacation; he has trouble as he is constantly antagonized by a rabbit due to Elmer being on his land. Elmer has enough with this furry menace and finds his rabbit hole before shutting it with multiple wooden planks saying “That will hold him alright” before walking back to his hammick to relax. Then the rabbit; whom was hiding in the woods, comes out and walks to the planks before mimicking Mr. Elmer by enlarging himself to look as obsese as Elmer Fudd. This is funny because the rabbit had morphed himself to mock the appearance of his foe, making himself look obese which makes his design look hilarious. After this clip was shown in 1941; many decades later in the year 2019 it would be rediscovered under the name “Big Chungus” as according to a reddit thread, a mother was asked by her son to buy a game called “Big Chungus” for Christmas, as the mother went to a local “GameStop” in order to receive the video game she wishes to gift her son. But when asking the front employee about said game, the employee seems confused and somewhat baffled. The mother would explain that her son wanted a game called “Big Chungus” for the ps4, describing a game involving an obese rabbit. She would then feel humiliated looking for a game that is seemingly not real and is but a joke, she would then go on to reddit to talk about her experience of humiliation. the term “Big” is referring to the absurd yet hilarious size of the rabbit though the phrase “Chungus” is left to interpretation as according to “Collins Dictionary”; Chungus refers to a short and fat person or object. But according to “Urban Dictionary” it refers to either, a stinky asshole, or the term “Chungus Mode” which means to enact an agressive behavior against someone. Never the less, the term “Big Chungus” and it’s origins, is quite funny.
