Frankly, my brain is always overflowing with a desire to ask questions and talk about things; I have to tone it down so that when I have something important to say, others will listen. I call it the law of conservation of promoto-plasm. In each conversation, there is a finite amount of promoto-plasm for each participant to divide between their expressed ideas. Dilute the promoto-plasm too thin, and your ideas will be weak and unable to generate the attention they need to succeed. The key is to tap into others’ stores of promoto-plasm. You cannot effectively steal promoto-plasm; it can only be given to a worthy cause.
