This one time I got a notification on my phone, and the real actual verified account of Kobe Bryant himself sent me a DM. My heart was fucking racing as I opened the message and read:
“Hey man, whats up. Saw your tweets on Stephen Curry and thought you were a cool guy, wanna come hang out with me and my family?”

I was shocked. My legend, my hero, Kobe Bryant was actually asking me to go hang out with him. I just kept looking at the message for a good two minutes, wondering if it was real or not. I cautiously decided to reply “Yeah, that would be cool” like the awkward idiot I am and waited for his reply. After 10 minutes he replied “Ok, we’re gonna be going on the 26th, you good on that time?” and I said “Yeah”, not caring about school or basketball practice or anything else. I immediately went to my brother and bragged about it to him: “HOLY SHIT LOOK LOOK KOBE BRYANT SENT ME AN INVITE I’M GONNA GET TO SEE KOBE BRYANT HOLY SHIT!” and my brother collectively screamed with me, “WHAT THE FUCK!? WHAT THE FUCK!? HOLY SHIT!!! NO WAY!!! WOOOOOAAAAHHHH!!!” I ran to my mom in the kitchen, “Mom! MOM! Look! It’s Kobe Bryant! He wants me to meet with him!” and my mom was skeptical, “No way honey. That’s fake. Now hurry up and clean your room.” I objected. “NO MOM I’M SERIOUS! IT’S THE REAL KOBE BRYANT ON TWITTER, LOOK!” I showed her his account. After some thinking she learned over to my side a bit more: “Mmmm, well how do you know where he’s going to meet you?” I told her that we’re going to meet at on the 26th at Calabasas park. My mom still had her doubts, “Well that’s kinda far isn’t it?”, I pleaded. She budged and agreed to take me to Kobe Bryant.

One week later, I arrive. Kobe is dressed casually and is just by himself next to his G-wagon. I cautiously walk up to him, and I asked “U-uh, K-kobe Bryant, sir?”. He just chuckled “Hey, what’s up man! You ready to go?” and I was nervous, “Y-yeah”. We got in the car and rode off. He asked me a few questions, like my name, what I do in school, and if I liked the Lakers, obviously. “So how cool is it that you get to hang out with a NBA superstar man?”, I was sheepish “It’s really cool, I can’t believe it.” Kobe then laid out the plans for the day “Ok, so we’re gonna go and pick up my daughter from school first, and then we’re gonna get some lunch. I got a few friends who are gonna see me, and then we’re gonna take him and his kid and go to my daughters game. After that well probably go to a restaurant or movie and then I’ll let you come play a few games with me at the house.”, all I could say was “Ok, sounds good.”, I was freakishly quiet, nervous what to say in front of him. Then he continued, “I got a huge basketball court in the backyard, oh man! You’re gonna love it man, there’s this remote, and you can slide a tarp over it if it starts raining, and it got a scoreboard and everything! Ain’t that cool?”. “Y-yeah, I guess so.”, then he asked me “You ever ride in a helicopter?”, and then my nervousness shot up a little. “No, I haven’t”, then he said “Oh man, it’s so cool! You’re gonna love it man, wait till later and I’ll take you on a ride, ok?”, “Ok”, I replied. We went to go pick up his daughter and she sat in the front with her dad. “Hi dad”, “Hi sweetie”. She gave him a small kiss on the cheek. She asked “Is this one of your new friends dad?”, and he says “This is my daughter Gianna, hope you don’t mind me picking her up from school today. Her mom is at home.” she turned to me and simply said hi. She and her dad talked a bit about school and where to eat, then we stopped at habit burger since that was her favorite and we got some burgers. We talked and waited for Kobe’s friends to arrive. When they did, they got in the car with us and we drove off to a desert somewhere in the city, a private area Kobe had with it’s own helicopter landing pad. “Hey guys, this is my friend here, he’s a fan so I decided to take him out with us.” Nobody seemed to mind me. “He wants to see the helicopters, don’t you?” I awkwardly replied “Y-yeah, I guess so.” and we arrived and got outside to meet the pilot. The pilot took us to the helicopter and let me even see the cockpit, “You see all those buttons? It’s pretty cool huh? You’ve probably never seen a helicopter like this before kid.” I said “Yeah, I haven’t” and sat into one of the seats in the helicopter. The pilot gave us some instructions and then strapped us into our seat-belts. Then we set off, and we were flying in the air. It was loud, and the roters and wind deafed everything around me. We had to shout in order to get things across. Kobe shouted “Isn’t this the coolest thing you’ve ever done?” and I yelled back “Yeah!”. Everyone seemed happy around me and we were looking outside the hatch looking at the city landscape all around us. It was beautiful. Suddenly there was a rumbling sound and at first I was nervous. Kobe said “It’s all right! The helicopter does that from time to time, it’s normal. But this is brand new and has all the safety precautions, so there is no need to worry about crashing!” And I felt a little better. But 15 minutes later the rumbling started to happen and then a loud beeping starting coming from the cockpit. The pilot yelled at us “SOMETHINGS WRONG, THE HELICOPTER WON’T STABILIZE!” and everyone got scared. The helicopter started plummeting and then Kobe’s daughter and some other girl in the cockpit started screaming. “GIANNA, GET OUT, GIANNA COME HERE!!” Kobe yelled at his daughter to come. “WHERE IS THE PARACHUTE, HERE PUT IT ON QUICK, HURRY GIANNA!” He yelled, as he tried to put on his parachute. “EVERYONE GET READY, WE’RE GONNA HIT LAND!” yelled the pilot as he pulled on the throttle with all his might to try and pull the helicopter up. “HURRY GIANNA GET READY EVERYONE GET READY TO JUMP!”, Kobe yelled. I was too scared to even take off my seatbelt and was just watching as we we’re spinning in the sky, a dim red light washing over the cockpit every two seconds and a loud siren deafening my ears as we descended from the sky. Before Kobe Bryant and everyone else could jump, we hit the ground and crashed. It felt like and earthquake only a dozen times more intense. We were thrown around the cockpit, piling on top and hitting each other like dice in a cup before a black stench of smoke filled my sinuses. In the third second of the crash my lungs were full of smoke, and half a second later my body was tickled with the flames of the fuel being lit before a loud roar erupted and engulfed everyone in flames. Then I instantly lost consciousness and woke up in an fantasy world as the hero of the kingdom Nestira, surrounded by beautiful princesses. I was king Alzahar, and I had my own harem of beautiful women at my disposal and a powerful kingdom to rule from.

tl;dr: I went out with Kobe Bryant, died in a helicopter crash and woke up in a Isekai anime
