Yeah, I know. I am proud of being a nerd but one thing I hate about nerd culture is uber tolerance and cowardice.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think nerds are faking to be nice by masking their cowardly meek attitudes as niceness. Most nerds are indeed really nice people who prefer to think rather get into fights senselessly and I think that niceness and smart avoidance of confrontation is what lead to nerds being weaklings.

It’s feels good that I am surrounded by nice friends who never betray me or make schemes behind my back while people such as gangstas, jocks, mean girls, and “cool” kids do.

We nerds generally embrace the uncool as being cool. We are the type to not give a shit about what others say about us.

But no matter where we put it, cowardice in itself isn’t a cool trait. The reason is because cowardice leads to us being stepped on. I hate the feeling of being stepped while there is nothing I can do about it.

We nerds need to be more tough and impervious to social manipulations. And when I say tough, I mean REAL TOUGH! Like us being physically strong, being more confident, decisive, and assertive in defending ourselves. The thing is that this is difficult cause being strong, assertive, and confident is generally unnerdy. Yes it is not nerdy but that’s the only way for us to not be stepped on and that’s the reality.

No matter where you put it, meekness, cowardice, and weakness aren’t attractive nerdy traits even for a true nerd like me. There’s no way I will glorify those nerdy traits.
