The white suit in this one reminds me of my Junior High years. I had just moved from the deep south to Los Angeles. Venice Beach to be precise. I was soon being invited to pool parties. Back where I came from no one had a pool, and it seemed here just about all the kids at school had their own pool. Up until then, I never swam anyway other than nude. All pools where I came from were nude only pools. Now I needed a swimsuit to swim with both girl and boy classmates. I rode with a friend to a pool party and his mom stopped at a store for me to buy a suit. They had this huge bin filled with all kinds of boy’s suits. I hated the trunks. I liked the swim briefs. My friend helped me pick one out. I didn’t want red or blue or black because he told me lots of boys wore those. Then I pulled out a shiny white swim brief. It had to be made of satin it was so shiny. It was also half the price of other suits in the bin. Since I was spending my own money, I chose the shiny white swim brief. I put it on in the bathroom at the store and I loved how it looked on me. I felt awesome wearing it at the pool party and everyone seemed to really like it to. Years later I found out why everyone liked that suit and me wearing it. First it didn’t have any liner in it, that is why it was half price. Second it was see-through when wet. No one ever told me. I lived in Venice for two years and wore that suit to every pool party I was invited to and not one told me everyone could see my boy stuff once I had been in the pool and got the suit wet.
