Every day we stray further from the ideal state of global freedom, interworked and connected through the patterning of mutual voluntary exchange colored by the principles of “leave alone that which one might”. We see not only the slipping of famously authoritarian regimes into more stifling behavior cycles, like systematic shutdowns of Internet, the blockade of contested regions, and the general degradation of rights of citizenry — we see famously libertarian nations falling into the trap, growing in popularity and enticement, of the erasure of history, rights, and dissonance. Harmony is not built on a system of silence. It is built as a medley of voices rising in crescendo into an intonation, with sufficient timbre, to commingle and create melody. Even as we strengthen the tools which might, when decentralized, free access finally to ideas and collective epiphanies of millennia for all, we instead continue to drive wedges between people; the tool which might be ultimate to protect the sacrosanct instead harbinges their downfall.
