Why’re archer so weak; these guys hold longbows, they’re probably more physically built than knights; why can’t they drop a longbow and switch to a secondary option faster than other classes; just because they’re strong at range doesn’t mean they should instantly be the weakest person ever at melee? They already had the perfect archer class in Chivalry 1. Why does switching weapons a long animation? What’s the point of adding jabs, it serves no purpose and really only adds another unwanted element to the rock, paper, scissors that is the first person melee genre; it might counter charge attacks… but why have charge attacks when you also have drags, you’re just adding more needless bullshit that shouldn’t exist and only serves to complicate the game further. Chambers need to have more clearly defined sounds and warnings or you run into the issue where you don’t even know someone has chambered you. The existence of special attacks; why? Weapons need to have damage fall off the longer they’re active or else you run into the issue where you’re being hit behind someone. It’s easy to turn and burn with no consequences, i.e. attacking then instantly running away. Animations are muddy and clunky. Why is there no option to MAKE YOUR ARMS AND WEAPONS SMALLER OR FURTHER AWAY FROM THE CAMERA; they take up 50% of the screen. If I’ve learned anything from TF2, it’s that large clunky models which take up 50% of your screen is how to create the single worst player experience. Tenosians in general being super weird and have awkward readability. Having block stamina but also personal stamina, I’m still not entirely sure why you would have two separate stamina bars or why you wouldn’t simplify them into a single bar? Why add dodge to ever class? You removed what made the Man-at-Arms so special.
