Bow Chan’s new name:
Cheri Chan and she wears cherry shaped hair clips.
Cherries are red like BLOOD (lol).
Cher/Chere is ‘dear’ in French, so it fits the title Love LETTER.
Cheri’s father was a famous french cook (explains why she makes great food for senpai) who died after marrying in Japan (hence the surname change ALSO HIS WIFE KILLED HIM BECAUSE HE CHEATED ON HER) before she transferred to a Japanese school which lead to bullying and hence lead to her deadly nature.
Cheri is mainly bullied due to her being a ‘hafu’ (half japanese). It is widely known that most hafu are bullied/isolated ESPECIALLY in school.
In school people mispronounce her name, it’s “Sherri” (also a jojo reference) but Cheri is easier. It’s lead to a joke where on her birthday, people gift her with cherries (most of the time they’re rotten).
Chérie/chéri means ‘darling’ in French; rivals/bullies always address her: “Cheri DARLING, you dropped something; your dignity”.
Cheri looks like “Cheerie”, which makes sense because Cheri is always cheerie when she’s TEARING THROUGH YOUR GUTS.

OPTIONAL: Cheri’s middle name is Blossom, a reference to the Japanese name ‘Sakura’ (known to symbolise death)
OPTIONAL: Prologue shows Cheri was once chubby (she loved dads food). Being overweight is frowned upon in Japan and lead to more bullying and as a result she lost weight but she still enjoys to cook food for other people UNTIL she meets senpai whom she ONLY cooks for UNLESS it’s poisonous food…

Bow Kun’s name is Berry Kun.
Same story, except he wears a tie that has strawberries.
