“Having sims brutally massacre each other on screen for comedic effect is totally acceptable by Jerma but text of a rock star sexually assaulting a nurse is unacceptable. What a frickin wacky streamer.”

“He’s afraid of losing his Twitch partnership”

“Twitch doesn’t care. They are fine with fake gamer girls having half their cleavage out every stream. They are fine with super violent games, they are fine with games having sexual content as long as they are not solely sex games. They are ok with people like Alinity using sex appeal to gain followers whilst abusing her cats live on stream, and Twitch don’t even want to ban her. Twitch just approved breastfeeding livestreams. Twitch is fine with the aforementioned fake gamer girls making livestreams dedicated to male-bashing whilst concomitantly profiting from the “male gaze” they claim to hate so much. Twitch is a haven for low and double standards. I’m pretty sure a few words on a page aren’t going to mean much. Jerma is just a frigging pansy who gets terrified at the idea of some social justice type launching an accusation against him which would lead to him being deplatformed, because it’s been happening a lot lately. It’s also why he’s terrified of mentioning any kind of politics on his streams, despite being totally fine with any other kind of topic that could offend. Like 90% of the time when you hear that the chat has suddenly gone emote-only mode is because one of those kinds of topics has come up in chat and a mod has immediately censored it before Jeremy can see it.

He’s a pansy for thinking it could happen. Sorry to break the illusion of your internet idol. Twitch isn’t going to do shit about a few words on the page. He’s not afraid of Twitch ToS, he’s afraid of getting complaints from other over-sensitive people, and thus is over-sensitive himself. And if he actually believes it is Twitch ToS that will come down hard on him, then he’s out of touch with the reality of what is going on on Twitch.”

“idk man, suppose i must also be out of touch also. From what I understand from podcasters like H3H3, Joe Rogan and Bill Burr, the Twitch moderation is corrupt. Those Twitch thots get away with way more than any male streamer. Some woman gave her cat vodka, and this is fine with Twitch, while at the same time a different male streamer threw his cat on a bed , and he was almost immediately unpartnered.

It’s not about having an idol or anything bro, that’s very demeaning for you to suggest that. It’s the fact the Twitch is two-faced as fuck, and it’s probably in a streamers best intention to be overtly cautious about certain topics, especially if Twitch is your only source of income. I imagine Twitch is Jerma’s only job.”

“It seems like both of us are on the same page, so perhaps I’ve just done a poor job of articulating myself. I typed my first comment in like 30 seconds, not really expecting any kind of discussion. So I apologize. I’ll try better here. My point was that Twitch, who as you clearly know are corrupt as fuck, don’t give a damn about censoring or controlling the content on their platform. What matters to them is who is complaining, and the image they give off. If there is something on their platform that is inappropriate, Twitch won’t give a damn unless a specific group complain. That’s why people like Alinity get away with abusing cats whilst somebody else wouldn’t. Alinity didn’t get mobbed by the SJW crowds, unlike other users have. In fact, Alinity got called out by The Quartering, who Twitch and Twitter treat like the evilest man on the internet, despite him doing great work, and that’s why Twitch don’t care. The right people didn’t kick up a fuss. Jerma acts like Twitch is Big Brother, coming down on any user, when in reality Twitch reacts to the social justice crowds. If they complain about you, Twitch comes down hard because they want certain people on their side. That’s the corruption of Twitch moderation. But if a bunch of actual gamers were to complain about something, Twitch wouldn’t give a damn.

So my point was Jerma is out-of-touch if he fears Twitch shutting him down. What he should actually fear is some SJW nutjob rabble-rousing against him. And maybe that is the actual thing he fears, but he certainly isn’t going to say it out loud. But why on Earth would that happen amongst the Jerma fanbase? He’s never been targeted in that way. His constant state of fear about this stuff makes it seem like he could be in the crosshairs at any moment, when I highly doubt he would be. To make a comparison, look at Skill Up, arguably the best game reviewer on Youtube, who also has full partnership on Twitch; he has never made any kind of offensive comment or displayed any kind of abusive content on his channel, and yet he is being targeted hard. Why? Because he gave Anthem a really negative review, and the SJWs who claim to love EA are out for his blood, and Bioware have also smeared his review publicly. Twitch didn’t care, until people started saying it must be because he’s a Nazi bigot etc etc blah blah. So unless there’s somebody watching every moment of every Jerma stream, waiting to jump out with a similar accusation because a random line of text in a game he didn’t expect mentioned something unflattering, Jerma isn’t going to be on the receiving end of this crap. Twitch don’t care about the content, they care about what specific people are saying about the content. I don’t see any Jerma viewers betraying him any time soon to earn some social justice brownie points by smearing him publicly until Twitch takes notice, yet Jerma acts like it could happen at any moment. He’s over-sensitive to it. Certain streamers are frequent targets of the SJW deplatforming brigade, but Jerma is not.”
