WARNING – Derailing the conversation! The following rant has almost NOTHING AT ALL to do with the post. I expect many, many downvotes, and I welcome your comments.

I guess I’m an “older” Redditor (41) but this post and title epitomize one of the things I find so interesting about Reddit and its mostly younger users. I see so many posts where young people are discovering that there is a whole world that exists outside of their own limited experience. I see posts like this where people are discovering that they are not novel, original, or unique.

To the people in /r/atheism – do you think you are the first person in the world to find inaccuracies and contradictions in the Bible?

To the people in /r/todayIlearned – do you think that you’re the first person to read a Wikipedia article and discover a piece of trivia?

And to OP of this post – do you think that you’re the first guy to wet your thumb and stick it into a hot girl’s inviting asshole in the hopes that she’ll enjoy it and beg for your cock in there?

Well, you’re not the first ones. There were many generations of people before you who have done the same things, and there will be many people after you who will do the same. What bothers me is the lack of humility. Instead of being humbled and awed by the fact that you are just entering a world that is bigger and more expansive than you can imagine, you seem disappointed because you’re not as special and talented as your mommy and your soccer coach said you are.

OP, this rant is not directed at you specifically. It may not even be applicable to you as you’re probably just making a joke. My rant is a generalized rant and your post, tongue-in-cheek or not, served as a great example of what I’m ranting about.

And before you all call me old and crotchety, and start spouting the virtues of your youth, just know that I have stuck many fingers, and many other things, into many, MANY girls’ puckered balloon knots. You haven’t. Who’s the asshole now?
