I understand your frustration, but technically in our lease (from what I understand/it’s not exactly clear) we’re not allowed to make copies of our keys or there are extra charges on our deposit. I was planning on getting the set back from Harlee and making copies was a last resort of sorts. She told me she’d bring them up until earlier yesterday when she told me she had lost them. Then I decided I’d just go make copies and deal with it but I had work early this morning and either the keys weren’t on the table in the morning or I just didn’t see them so I didn’t have them with me for when I’d get off work. When I did get off of work Harlee let me know that she had found her keys and she’d bring them to me I between her classes so I waited at the Cafe to meet her and get the set so I could get back into the apartment and all our problems would be solved. She came and I got the keys but they didn’t work so I went to the school to find someone with the keys so that I could, again, go make copies. Sadly everyone had class till about 4 or 5 ish and eventually I met up with Noah and came back at which time I was very tired and passed out on the couch. When I woke up and had a little something to eat for the first time today it was too late to get them copied today.

Please understand that between the things that I need to iron out for myself and my classes, the landlord and the previous tenants, my work and conflicting schedules, this debacle with the keys, and trying to maintain a practice schedule to prepare an hour and a half of classical music for October 19th (most of which I didn’t receive scores for till this month) I have been stretching as much as I can to get it all done. In all honesty your keys are not inherently my responsibility, they’re Harlees and the landlords, but sadly nobody in the situation has the desire or comprehension to take responsibility other than myself. I’m happy to be the one to figure it out for you and I’m doing what I can.
