Every time I make a diamond hoe, I have at least 30 people telling me how much a waste it is. Will you still think it’s a waste when you’re crafting your 30th hoe in 20 minutes with 30 diamonds sitting in a chest? Probably, but I’ll be happy with my one hoe that has lasted longer than 20 seconds. Sounds like a pretty good deal for only 2 diamonds. I think people put too much value on diamonds. You can get roughly a full stack from a 45 minute mining session with a fortune III pickaxe. I have no idea how someone can be so conservative of their diamonds. Once you start enchanting your gear with unbreaking, you kinda run out of things to spend diamonds on. You might as well put a few into a hoe that won’t break instantly. Obviously it doesn’t make sense to make a diamond hoe early in the game, but that applies to all tools. Why is it that hoes get so much hate. Sure it doesn’t technically function any better than hoes with cheaper materials, but as I’ve said previously it’s only 2 diamonds and the durability is great. I urge everyone reading this to give diamond hoes a chance.
