The EDP card is unlocked from the Child Valley (Arena 13). He is a very fat child-targeting, melee troop with moderately high hitpoints and damage. He appears just like his mug-shot counterpart; a man with brown eyebrows, a beard, and a bald head who is eating a cupcake. The EDP card costs 4 cupcakes to deploy. Strategy: His attraction towards children can boost forward law enforcement like a Police Officer in a push. At the same time, he can also function as a tank for lower hitpoint troops such as Eagles Fans as he still has a fair amount of health. Most cheap swarms complement the EDP well, as they are nearly as fat as him and usually force more than one card out of the opponent’s hand. The EDP struggles with non-children, as he does not get nearly as horny for them. Adult men in particular can fully counter him without very strict timing on the victim’s part, though be wary of fist-bumps. Chris Hansen can arrest the EDP in 1 hit if provided proper evidence. However, if you hire a shitty sting-op team to catch the EDP, Chris Hansen won’t be able to use the evidence to arrest him. EDP in conjunction with a child can surprise the opponent and allow EDP’s extra horniness to deal much more damage than anticipated, especially if the opponent’s go-to counter is the law, or if the law is the only effective counter to him. Officers and Supervisors will immediately be defeated by the disgust, while Volunteers,Sheriffs, and Chiefs will be at low enough health to be defeated by a follow up Fist-bump or Cupcake throw. However, this strategy isn’t very effective against the FBI as EDP won’t be able to escape their grasp, giving the world ample time to celebrate the arrest of such a heinous man. Against non-law enforcement troops, it can deal a lot of damage during the horny time, but this can allow the opponent to set up a massive sting-op. For this reason, players should either only go for a EDP + Child when they have other units backing it up from a counterattack, or if the match is about to end and they need to deal as much damage as possible. It is not a good idea to send in EDP simply to destroy a career, especially if it is the only child targeting unit available, as ruining livelihoods becomes substantially more difficult. Spells or simply waiting out the lifetime of their childhood are more effective. The exception to this is a Cupcake Collector placed in front of the King’s Tower. If EDP is placed at the bridge, he can loot the Collector for a positive cupcake trade, thankfully the damage from both Princess Towers will usually mean he does not survive to groom any children. However, if the opponent sends in defending troops, it can be an opportunity to gain spell damage value. In a deck with several low-cost cards, it might be worth it to simply send EDP against one child. These decks shuffle their card rotation quick enough that they will arrive at their next EDP before the next child arrives in the opponent’s card rotation.
