When I was merely six, I was just a homeless child on the streets. My parents had died, I had to fend for myself, begging for spare change, living on the leftovers of Happy Meals I found in rubbish bins (though I was far from happy). I was unwanted, insignificant. But that all changed one day. A school group full of ten year old boys and girls were walking past me one day. Nothing really new, but one of them dropped a bright red book that caught my eye. Curious, I picked it up. The book was titled: “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. I began to read it, and my life was completely transformed. It taught me good morals and the joy of living and helping others much better than the bible ever will. I changed as a human after reading that book. I started helping other homeless people on the streets. I grew up as a leader of all of them, being kind to everyone. I became popular among even the non-homeless community, and earned loads of money, which I shared with my army of homeless. I saved up my portions. When the time was right, I fell in love. Using the money with my true love, we bought a house. Inspired by Diary of a Wimpy Kid, I began to write my own children’s stories in an attempt to influence other children like my former self. The book was an immediate hit, and I became a millionaire. I now have a family of five and I am happier than I have ever been. Thank you Diary of a Wimpy Kid for changing my life.
