Hey guys! I am a vegan and have decided to pursue the path of the ethical hunter. In the next year, I would like to go on my first hunt.

I want to kill fewer animals by not purchasing so much tofu and using a single projectile like an arrow or bullet to kill one animal and eat that animal for a prolonged period of time.

I wanted to know from all of you folks who live this lifestyle what I need for the road ahead.

Hunting courses, rifle, meat freezer, plastic meat packaging bags, supplies, clothes, binoculers, side arm, gun license, all of that jazz.

I have decided to purchase a Tikka T3x lite as my first rifle.

I am a Lyft/Uber driver, so please understand I do not have a bottomless pit of money.

My goal is to kill an elk and deer and have enough meat for a year.

I live in Portland, Oregon. So I will try to hunt here and in Washington.

I want to buy what you all recommend me slowly over the next 6 to 12 months.

Thanks, everyone!
