Appearance: Shelby is 5’2” and only weighs 64 lbs., considering that Moth People are very light. Shelby is a Peppered variation of a Moth Person, and has white hair/fur/fuzz with occasional black spots splashed inbetween. As a Moth Person, she has fuzz that coats her forearms, calves, and outer thighs. Additionally, she has a tuft of fur that wraps around her neck. Shelby’s hair is wispy, and is also of a white coloration with the same black spots. Shelby has antennae and wings that can be freely moved, although her wings aren’t strong enough to get her off the ground. Her eyes are a reddish-brown, and her iris takes up all of her visible eye. They have somewhat of a buggish look to them. Shelby has ghostly pale skin. The parts of her body that remain untouched by fur/fuzz are her hands, feet, triceps, chest, back, inner thighs, and face. She wears general pants that have been supplied to her by her research team, but also wears an open back shirt so that her wings can move. Shelby’s body shape and facial appearance is very human in nature, and her face, chest, and hands are very soft, however her back and feet are rough, and feel comparable to a bug’s chitin.
Personality: Shelby isn’t the most social person. She finds less enjoyment in crowds and more in small knit groups, which is given to her through the isolation that comes with space travel. Shelby has a strong love for discussion of literature and space travel in general. She’s not particularly courageous, although it does take a certain level of courage to go out into space frequently. She’s gradually learning what it means to be selfless and in essence is becoming more and more brave. She is somewhat insecure about her wings, and takes compliments to them wonderfully. Shelby is pansexual, and is pan in this case meaning she is open to love between species. She’s a cartographer who’s mapping trade routes between planets.
