Whenever I see fanart of Virgin and Chad, I like to imagine a lighthearted, coming-of-age sitcom about their misadventures as college roommates. The pilot would show them moving into their dorm and discovering that they share the same flat. *Virgil* would be a neurotic, introverted type who’s quietly annoyed at having to live with Chad, who’s the polar opposite because hes boisterous and outgoing. Virgil would initially seek to get moved to a new room while humorously enduring Chad’s attempts at fraternizing. However, Virgil would realize by the end of the episode that Chad’s not such a bad guy (and he could be stuck with far worse people as roommates), so he decides to stick by him (even if he’s a little much sometimes).

Subsequent episodes would follow their day-to-day lives as they grow up and confront the trials and tribulations of college life. There’d be an ongoing subplot about Chad helping Virgil talk to girls by being his wingman, and Virgil joining the rugby team at Chad’s insistence (and then using his strategizing skills to lead their team to victory). Other plots could include the boys pulling an all-nighter on a paper for a gen-ed class they both hate, Chad (a Ghibli fan) insisting that they attend an anime club meeting (Virgil suspects it will be full of lecherous weirdos, which it is), and them repeatedly running afoul of their rivals *Pelé* and *Wojik*, a smug, dick-ass edgelord and his quiet, depressed friend (who would act as foils to Virgil and Chad). Once their odd friendship is established, you could have some heart-to-heart moments (IE, Virgil admitting in a candid moment that he feels self-conscious about being a virgin, Chad revealing while he’s drunk that he feels depressed and full of self-doubt beneath his confident demeanor, Virgil struggling to not fall prey to redpill/blackpill sophistry, Chad coming to terms with his bisexuality and the shame he feels over it from his homophobic dad, etc).

What actors would be good for the roles? I immediately thought of Chris Pratt for Chad and Miles Teller for Virgil, but they’re both a little old to be playing college students.
