***Some Examples of Meta Gaming***
\- Speaking about future actions that would prove your innocence
\- Bringing up verifiable or visual tasks (aka “I have medbay scan, someone follow me and cancel on top of me to make sure I am not lying”)
\- Asking for a hard follow or group stack during meetings to prove innocence or catch an imposter – “Guys, there’s only one imposter left 100%. Just everyone stay together. I have the last 3 tasks left, and yellow is clearly lying. I can prove I am innocent as long as we all stay together”
\- “I’ll follow purple all game, if I die, purple is imposter”
***What is NOT Meta Gaming***
\- Confirming/asking someone’s tasks/actions
\- Confirming/asking someone’s story
\- Confirming/asking someone’s location
\- Planning future actions that does NOT involve any form of outside game knowledge or knowledge that is not known by all players already
\- This is OK: “Guys, I think we may have voted wrong. If they get one more kill they win. To be safe, let’s pre run reactors” –
This is OK: “If we vote wrong here, that mean’s it is 1 imposter and 2 crewmate remaining. We only have 1 task left, so ignore any sabotage and try to avoid each other. Just do your task and we win”.
\- Notice in both these scenarios, all players alive knew the same info regarding the necessary course of action
