This is honestly a pretty stupid question, because the answer seems both obvious and kind of unavoidable, but I just… I’ve always had a hard time accepting it, and I’m wondering if there’s anything I’ve missed.

I mean, one-room housing is the norm for a significant part of the world. It was the default for most of history, too; the so-called “great houses” of middle ages Europe, for example. Heck, the nobles often slept with their servants in the same room.

But, like… those families are obviously growing. And that obviously means sex. But that’s… kind of awful. Maybe I’m just spoiled by the privacy available in the modern world, but I just can’t picture it.

“Oh, you’re curious about what mom’s doing, little Timmy? That there’s called a blowjob. She’s not the best at it, but it gets the job done. I remember watching your grandmother give BJ’s. Now that was amazing to see. I’m sure you’ll get there someday, honey.”

Like… am I missing something? Thanks in advance.
