Oh good. I was waiting for some moron to try and defend this, now if you”re not as educated as I am, you probably don’t know what VORE actually is.

Vore is an Internet slang term for vorarephilia, a paraphilia characterized by the erotic desire to consume or be consumed by another person or creature or to spectate another person or creature be eaten. The character being eaten is commonly referred to as the “prey” while the character doing the eating is often referred to as the “pred.” Traditionally vore is depicted as an oral act, however variations involving other orifices exist.

So for starters this is correct, but not entirely. There’s a variety of vore, so I can’t speak for everyone, but what I can talk about is the stuff that’s probably safest for newcomers.

Let’s begin with explaining the diffrences between vore types.

In soft-vore, the prey is consumed alive and may be released, held for a time or digested. Soft-vore does not contain graphic depictions of death or digestion. Hard-vore is characterized by physical injury through violent chewing or digestion of prey.

In same-size vore, the predator and prey are are roughly equivalent in body size. Artwork depicting same-size vore often shows the predator’s gut being stretched to unnatural extremes, similar to body inflation artwork.

Macro vore combines macrophilia and vore by featuring a predator much larger than the prey, often large enough for the prey to be bite sized. A very common type of vore art, especially among artists who do not wish to do artwork displaying the predator’s midsection becoming very distended.

Finally, “Cock” vore involves the prey being eaten by the pred’s penis. While the predator in these situations is typically male, occasionally some artists will depict this method of vore using futanari characters (girls with male genitals). Anal vore, also known as “reverse vore,” features preds devouring the prey with their anus. Vaginal vore, or “unbirth,” involves the prey being taken into the predator by way of the predator’s own birth canal, often ending up in the womb, hence the name “unbirth.”

Now that we have your ignorance out of the way in terms of basic knowledge. We can now begin an actual discussion.

The vore I’m into is soft as soft can be. It’s consensual, people are swallowed whole, are alive, comfortable, and safe in the belly, and later they’re magically out somehow and I’d prefer to not bother with the details of exactly how that happened.

I like the closeness of it. The idea of trusting someone enough to eat you and know you’d be safe, or of them trusting you enough for it gives me warm fuzzies. Plus the ‘being in the belly’ part just strikes me as a lot like a big weird hug. And I like hugs too!

…The harder vore, with nonconsentual stuff, violence, and death, is not my cup of tea. I think that fetish is basically about power dynamics, but I’ll leave it to someone who’s actually into hard vore to discuss it, if they want to.

Your arrogance kind of reminds me of Spongebob (in the simplest way that a child like you would understand) because everyone hates you except for your really dumb best friend, so you think everythings okay. Squidward especially hates you and shows it, and constantly tries to get away from you but your arrogance is so huge and spreads from land to land that not even Squidward can get away from you.

Breast vore is the only good vore, and if you think otherwise, you’re probably wrong.

DON’T EVEN BOTHER to reply about this. I’m afraid that if you do I might catch just a little bit of your ignorance and it is far too late in the day for me to want to listen to you at all. Go and have some alcohol, it might kill just the right braincells for you to be able to get back on with your life and might actually improve your day.
