Hey, what’s up, it’s Tony Hawk – the guy who’s been catching gnarly air and doing hectic grinds for over three decades now. But today, I’m here to talk to you about something a little different – women’s rights.

Now, you might not expect a skater like me to be all about gender equality, but let me tell you, I’ve got four daughters, and I want them to grow up in a world where they can shred just as hard as the guys. That’s why I believe that women’s rights are crucial for building a better, more inclusive society.

As a skateboarder, I know that there’s still a gender skate gap that needs to be closed. Women are out there shredding, but the industry hasn’t always been welcoming to them. We need to provide women with the same opportunities as men, so they can do hectic grinds and catch gnarly air just like we do.

But women’s rights go beyond skateboarding. We need to stand up against gender-based violence, support women’s reproductive rights, and close the gender pay gap. It’s like a gnarly obstacle in the way of women reaching their full potential, and we need to grind it down.

As a father, I want my daughters to know that they can do anything they set their minds to – they can do kickflips, they can do heelflips, and they can do anything else they want. And as a member of society, I want to do my part to make sure that all women have the same opportunities and rights as men.

So let’s come together, grab our boards, and ride for women’s rights. Let’s catch some gnarly air and do some hectic grinds, while we work towards a more inclusive and equal world. Thanks for listening, and keep on shredding.
