God. You know, I originally had a whole thing about how we understand that women are generally weaker than men and there is a reason why men and women’s weight lifting and basically every other sport is separate. I deleted it because I thought we were adult enough to understand that, by and large, women are generally weaker, pound for pound, than men. It’s not sexism. It’s a scientific fact. There are many things that women are better at than men, including discriminating among colors.

Also 6kg is 13 pounds. I have lifted 13 pounds with 1 hand plenty of times. That’s really not that much weight… It would put a bit of a strain on my wrist, but it is completely doable. I usually lift waaaaaay more than that one handed when I used to go to the gym before Covid-19. I doubt my girlfriend could lift 13 pounds like that (with all of the weight on her wrist) but that doesn’t mean I love her any less because she is less physically strong than me.

I was in the Navy. Here is the men’s and women’s physical readiness test (PRT) charts.

You will notice that women have to do a lot less push-ups than men by a factor of about one half. Is the Navy being sexist or does it just understand that men and women are biologically different and there is nothing wrong with that.
