Are you a robot? I truly hope you’re a robot. By the volume of comments you post here I see that there’s 3 possibilities.

1) You think you are making a difference by posting in this echo chamber, which you likely are not. Even if you are, you could certainly make a much bigger difference in real life than you could on this website.

2) You just really enjoy complaining. I really hope it’s not this one, because that just seems like a really sad existence that I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. Why complain when you could try to make a difference? If that’s too hard or doesn’t sound enjoyable, which is completely understandable, I would recommend getting a healthier and more enjoyable hobby. I personally enjoy running and working out, even watching tv and playing video games. These are all definitely preferable to complaining on the internet.

3) You are a robot with the sole purpose of trying to sway people’s opinions. This is the best possibility, since I already detailed in (1) why this is not the best method for a human to make a difference. Still, it can be assumed that some small difference could be made if you have enough robots echoing the same viewpoints. Since a robot of this kind would not take much resources to run, this is the only situation where this amount of posting becomes worth it.

Notice I am not arguing for or against any political stance in this comment. Rather, I am encouraging people to take an objective look at their own actions and contemplate whether these are the best ways to maximize the happiness of themselves and others. After all, that’s all someone should strive for. Thank you for reading; I hope this has sparked some productive thinking about life, and I hope you have a good rest of your day.
