Today in my lecture (I am in a very advanced university course) the professor asked the class if they knew what “IQ” stood for. I promptly raised my hand, and answered “intelligence quotient.” He, amazed, explained that he has never had a student answer that question correctly before. He suggested that I take over the lecture, since I am obviously at a level of intelligence above everyone else present. I ended up teaching the class about advanced quantum mechanics. The professor was stunned. I try not to brag about being a genius in public (simpletons generally dislike being made aware of their dumbwittedness), but sometimes my intelligence just can not help but make itself appear.
