You know, when I picture the real pinnacle of good anime, on which all others are based upon, there’s only one thing that comes to mind, that of course being “I Can’t Believe My Alien Visitor is Actually My Little Sister Who Died in a Horrible Car Crash 7 Years Ago: The Animation!”. It is honestly one of the most stunningly beautiful and profound pieces of art you can ever lay your eyes upon. It’s no wonder everyone else is always taking examples from it, as it’s story progression is never boring in the way it flows naturally. Not only that, but the animators did an absolutely amazing job making the manga series into stunning lifelike colorful animations. “I Can’t Believe My Alien Visitor is Actually My Little Sister Who Died in a Horrible Car Crash 7 Years Ago: The Animation!” also has some of the best character development out there, it’s wonderful how it’s managed to hold up to this day, especially considering that the series started 12 years ago, although, not very suprising for how good of a manga series and show it is. “I Can’t Believe My Alien Visitor is Actually My Little Sister Who Died in a Horrible Car Crash 7 Years Ago: The Animation!” is by far the best ongoing anime series. The creator of the manga series and director of the anime adaptation, Ken Harazuma did an amazing job translating the real life event of his little sister’s death 7 years before the start of the show into what is still considered to be one of if not the best manga and anime adaptations out there. I know that there are many critics of his hard work, and I must say, their criticisms are supremely misplaced on such an amazing series, and they are quite tasteless to say such things about it.
