I just binge watched all the episodes of Skibidi Toilet and loved every second of it.

Foreword: I swear to God that I’m not a five-year-old.

I know that Reddit hates this show since they believe that it is simply a mindless, poorly animated, grotesque cartoon directed at toddlers and animated by someone who merely desires advertising revenue from small children (or they believe that the show is just Elsagate 2: Electric Boogaloo); however, I decided to give it a try and was shocked as to how much effort seemed to be put into it. The fight choreography was cool, the visual storytelling was on point, and I found the purportedly annoying “skibidi bop bop bop” tune to be really catchy. As the series goes on, it introduces building-sized mechas, military complexes, and giant toilet creatures, and, by that point, I was completely hooked. The animator masterfully uses perspective to create a sense of scale and to give the viewer a sense of just how large the leviathans duking it out onscreen are. Even the toilets themselves, which are laughably silly antagonists on paper, are made threatening via their portrayal as an endless horde of beings that pose an existential danger to humankind, which causes the viewer to be kept on the edge of their seat for the entire 40-minute runtime of the series.
