My deepest apologies to the Italian people.

Recently I have made what I thought at the time was a harmless, and fun joke at the expense of the Italians. What I thought was innocent and playful comedy, turned out to be a nightmare. After my post was made, hatred against the Italian people has skyrocketed. I am seeing anti Italian bigotry everywhere on the internet, on Discord, on Twitter, on Reddit and on many other social media platforms. Here is the text of my post, although do be forewarned that is there is anti Italian bigotry in the post: >! Did y’all know that wind is sus? Go check and see what wind means in Italian. Maybe next time you will think carefully about using wind to produce power. !< Upon further examination, I have actually determined that the etymology for “vento” in Italian, and “vent” in English are both related to each other, and pertaining to wind. This is also why the Spanish word for “window” is “ventana”. Thus, the reason that the word “vent” is related to suspicion (sus), is not due to the Italians, but due to the British, who invented English in 5000 B.C. to create a language that made no sense, and had no consistent grammatical, or pronunciation rules, to confuse people. In the process, they stole words from German and Italian to make the language, instead of making their own words.

For context, during the year 2020, the game “Among Us” was created, in which people must stop an “imposter” in their space ship who is trying to kill them all, using deduction and clues to determine who it is, and vote them out. The imposter is seen as “suspicious” (sus), and one of the main pieces of evidence that you can use to indict the imposter is to say that you saw them “vent”, which is why “vent” and “sus” have come to be related. The imposter can “vent”, from one part of the HVAC system (Heating, ‘Vent’ilation, and Air Conditioning), to another, killing people on different parts of the ship and framing people who were closer to the victim, as well as hiding in the vents themselves. I would say that this describes British ‘people’ far more accurately than it does Italians, and I am sorry for voting out the Italians first, as they were obviously framed by the British. Clearly, implying that an entire language and people are “suspicious” will lead to an increase in bigotry, which is wrong, especially when we are doing it to the wrong people, and not those who deserve it, the filthy anglos. I want people to know that I have changed, and I have left my old ways of being bigoted against Italians. I have many Italian friends, and I love the Italian language, which is not a suspicious language at all. Even my name comes from Italian, although that is probably after the British stole it. I even rooted for Italy against Britain, in the European Super Bowl or whatever it is called. I hope that you all can accept my sincere and deepest apologies, but I understand if it will take some time for you to accept me again. Have a good day everyone, and don’t be “sus”.
