i had a horrible experience with a catapult and this is the reason i will never give up on my trebuchet. i nevet talked about this before but i like civ and i dont like catapults so i feel like this post was made for me.

we visited italy, specifially the city of vienna, and we went to a history exhibition. we were looking at ancient items from the past like pots, swords, armor, even a hut, and a sieging catapult used in the 12th century to kill rome. wow i thought to myself, this can surely be a useful tool wonder why its not used for transporting goods huh? we were about to grab a signature italian lasagna sandwich from “la mama” next to the museum when a masked guy sprinted past us, and behind him was trailing the policemen. he was too far so what did they do? they took my little brother, put him in the catapult and launched him toward the masked man. the catapult was short and my brother missed the thief and splattered on the concrete. i stared in shock while my mother fainted. my father, however, sprinted to him, took him in his arms and with tears in his eyes put him in a trebuchet that was in the museum next door. my brother being 30kg was able to perfectly hit the the thief 1200m away and his face was trapped in my brothers ribcage. he was easily caught because he had a heart attack. my brothers statue is still there in the middle of vienna my parents told me
