As an Asian-Chinese myself, I got so upset and disgusted by the fact that a yellow square hasn’t been trending over instagram and twitter yet. Some of you may have known, Asians are getting beating up because of hate crime as Whites associate Asians with the Chinese Virus. This is very saddening as when George Floyd got killed by the police, people started posting black squares immediately on Twitter. This is such unfairness for the Asian community, I propose we post yellow squares and start a #yellowoutmonday hastag.
