I use Gmail’s scheduled mail function as a dead man’s switch. The email is to my wife, and it contains instructions, but no passwords or QR codes to recreate 2FA. (how or where to retrieve the passwords are amongst the instructions, but with safeguards in place so only my wife or kids can gain access to the info)

There are 2 other scheduled emails for myself to remind me to renew the send date if the send date of the dead-man’s-email is drawing near. The first reminder triggers 1 month before, and the 2nd reminder at 1 week before.

If I’m unable to postpone the sending of the final email, then it must mean I’m dead.

I’m doing all these to make sure that in the event of my untimely demise, my wife can still login to my max level Clash Of Clans account, and not miss doing my clan war attacks.
