I saw someone post: “I hate watermelons.” On their story. I, like most people, thought nothing of it. So what? Maybe the guy just doesn’t like watermelons. But hate is such a strong word. What could the watermelons have done to warrant such an extreme reaction? Why would someone feel so strongly towards an inanimate object that, to most humans, serves no purpose but to satisfy their insignificant craving.

But, to this man, those typically undistinguished fruit strike a fire in his heart. A burn. A longing of hatred. But for what cause? What man, in his right mind, commits so much of his God given passion to the hatred of a large green fruit? Yes, a man who was seen the griefs and pains strucken by that very same fruit.
