I mean, if you view Lil Pump and his contemporaries as a cry for help, cast through the lens of masculine bravado and urban consumerist/drug culture from a generation raised on technology and addictive prescription drugs, yeah tbh it’s a pretty poignant social commentary. I mean just think of a line like “me and my grandma take meds.” Lil Pump is 17 years old, but he’s pumping (heh) himself full of as much prescription medication as his elderly grandmother. In a way, he’s commenting on how he feels a sense of unwellness, or perhaps a foreshortened future, as though he’s approaching the end of his life.

We will truly never fully understand the depth of this man.
