*T’was a sunny day, and the sky was blue,*

*The birds sang, and the cows moo’d.*

*The day bloomed with glee, the nature was free,*

*But I had no idea, the disgusting fate that awaited me.*

*T’was cold I remember, when I got out of bed,*

*My alarm clock ticked, ‘Time to get up’, I said.*

*So I put on my clothes, my shirt then my shorts,*

Went downstairs, the walked out the door.

*I was taking a stroll in the park, when I suddenly saw,*

*A muddy brown clump, sitting on the floor.*

*It looked so heavenly, so graceful, so immaculate,*

*I sprinted over to it, and was instantly on top of it.*

*I shoveled it into my mouth, never stopping for a break,*

*Handful by handful, my stomach was awake.*

*It had a soft texture, but a sharp taste,*

*Crunchy bits here and there, that my teeth chased.*

 *Once I finished, I wasn’t satisfied,*

*I licked the floor where it once laid, then started to cry.*

*Then I saw another one, a bit bigger this time,*

*Over by the playground, I knew it was mine.*

*So I ate and I ate until I couldn’t no more,*

*The craving diminished, I lay on the floor.*
