Some time ago I was walking around with my classmates. I accidentally dropped my phone and when one of the boys picked it up..
“SIMP! YOU ARE SUCH A SIMP, \[redacted\]!”
Since when is a simple act of kindness simping? I knew very well they were premature but like, what the hell? I could tell he was embarrassed, but I didn’t have the energy to lash out at them, so I just told him it’s alright.
Also, apparently having a girlfriend and loving her is now simping, too.
I don’t think this is how the word is supposed to be used.
People may say that being a simp isn’t a bad thing, but honestly, the word is mostly used as an insult.
I don’t fucking understand.
