I have to admit at first before I even got the game the reason I hated Pearl was the Mayonnaise support. I despise and think Mayonnaise is the worst condiment ever. I hated her even more after Team Mayo won the Splatfest. Slowly I had a hate for Pearl that lingered even into this year when I bought the game. It wasn’t until I played the Octo Expansion that my opinion on Pearl changed. It was also some of the banter between her and Marina that change my feelings during the stage announcements. Pearl managed to change my opinion on her despite the whole mayonnaise thing in the beginning.
