To be frank, I don’t really give a damn what people have to say about this place. It’s like a home away from home away from home, and if we got shitposters on one end, racebaiting bonobos on the other, and serious discussions in between, then that’s fine with me. You know why? Because any feelings of insecurity or disappointment’s within this subreddit is the responsibility of the person feeling this way, not the subreddit’s actions. If you don’t like something, downvote it, tell them to stop being a moron and move on. The purpose of this subreddit is NOT to be a civil forum representing the university students, but a place where people can share ideas, thoughts, shitposts, and jokes without fearing censorship. And if you disagree with me and wanna call me a dumb sand monkey? That’s absolutely fine, because if all it takes is a fucking race-baiting slur to get me going on a censorship crusade, then I can’t imagine what would happen if I were to face a REAL issue, like many of the people on this subreddit are facing to this day.
