Hello, I have question for you dear viewer.
Why are you not listening to Lil Darkie?
Lil Darkie isn’t just some random SoundCloud rapper.
Um, actually he’s quite, quite the opposite.
He’s some middle eastern kid who decided to make some art on some distorted beats and it’s really quite beautiful to be honest.
His persona is um, a drawing that, he does all of his animations by the way, but it is a satirization of 1930’s cartoons where this how they drew black people. Um, despist lil darkie not being black, um, he’s probably blacker than the people who get offended at him for saying the N word.

[Verse: Lil Darkie]
This just in, Lil Darkie is racist
Spreading the message of Satan with faces
Blacker than any of us prolly are
But I’m still offended ’cause I’m a retard

He’s pretty raunchy, right?

[Verse: Lil Darkie]
By making it hard for you to create

The question still remains, who is lil darkie?

[Verse: Lil Darkie]
Mind control
All my thoughts are mine to hold
Down in my spinal cord
Bitch, this ain’t my final form It’s obvious that darkie was/is a misfit, an outcast, but uses that to his advantage by being able to put more rage into his art, both his drawing and music. His music is loud, offensive, raunchy and relatable. We’ve all wanted to scream obscenities when we’re upset. We’ve all wanted weave emotions into something greater.
Darkie utilizes anger, depression, other you know angry emotions to make real raw distorted music. His main producer Wendigo compliments darkie’s vocal style to create something that’s beautiful. His music isn’t for the faint of heart, it’s not for you, it’s for him to vent and display his emotions, and for you to watch the beautiful descent into madness.

Swamp Drained Review

[Intro: Lil Darkie]
Oh?
What’s this? (Yuh)

His EP swamp drained is, is something different. The songs are mostly distorted, but he also goes into challenging every other rapper. He believes he has a place in the rap game, and he’s willing to fight for it. He’s not just gonna sit there, and watch these quote on quote “Sad Clowns” take the SoundCloud charts.
He’s not going down without a fight.

[Verse: Lil Darkie]
Darkie
Everytime I wake up
I think you niggas have got on makeup
All these fakers take us deeper to shake us and get they cake up
Pussy wake up They wanna make us into some clowns that rap about throwin’ rounds for reasons that have no grounds

His music is actually raw, it’s beautiful. I’ve said that a million times now, but his music is beautiful. On the sixth track of the EP, he, he brings up his feelings of depression, and his decent into alcoholism, and that’s so out of place on his SoundCloud.
Yet, it really fits in with the story line of the album.

[Verse: Lil Darkie]
I should stop drinking and start thinking
Linking with these lames ain’t do nothing
And now my time is shrinking He voices how he’s trying befriend these quote on quote “Generic Rappers”, but he doesn’t really wanna be there. He just feels he has to do this to get to the top, but now his time is running out to create original content

Conclusion

[Verse: Lil Darkie]
NO NEW ME
SUE ME
DOING WHAT I WANT TO
DRINKING

It’s obvious that darkie’s music is not for everyone, and I’m not telling you that you have to listen to him, or something. I’m telling you what I take from his music, my interpretations of it. Even if they aren’t his interpretations, I just see, I see an art piece. His entire SoundCloud is an art piece, with the animations, the drawings, with the music especially.
It’s just beautiful.

[Verse: Lil Darkie]
Piss piss piss piss
It takes forever and then some
Run up on me with the lever I send some
Fuck up my liver somebody will lend one
Niggas be shooting pretend guns
