I laugh at the /tv/ threads trying to understand JOKER. It’s kinda funny reading simpletons trying to grasp the motives of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker.

This movie is too deep for conversation. They will be talking about it 800 years from now trying to deconstruct Arthur. Golden Lion, kek, those rich snobs in Venice didn’t even have a category for this “film” I use quotations because JOKER is not a film it is a thought piece on our times. I went to the theater a dissposesd young white guy, I left a man. It just has too many layers, too much nuance. I’ve gone to see it 15 times, taking notes, writing down his facial ticks, his hand movements, the flash backs, the delusions, everything. It’s just too much. And the casual violence. it’s so empowering, the “normies” in the theater thought it was a joke. Jokes on them. They had no idea I was an incel and a /tv/ poster and that I got the movie and they didn’t.. They thought it was a vacuous CapeShit money grab. LOL. Misconsceptions much? I’m literally at The New School (That’s in NYC) writing up a thesis about the real world impact of JOKER. A movie this epochal redefines a generation. It is the Citizen Kane of our time.

JOKER should only be discussed at higher learning institutions with people with Film Studies degrees. I stopped going to /tv/ long ago. I came back to see what they might think of JOKER. Oh boy. what a hoot. they just don’t get “it.” JOKER works and influences on so many levels it is mind boggling. I have never watched a full screening at one time. I always take a break at 45:56 run time to just decompress and try to grasp the message of the film.
