Hit or miss. I’ve finally figured it out. The artist is a math genius. Bear with me while I explain the math. Recall that binomial probability calculates the probability of success or failure. These results can be assigned to their respective language, hit or miss. Here we can see the artist laying the foundation for the conceptual understanding of the math interlaced within their lyrics, but the true talent and wit of the artist can be seen in the line which follows, “I guess you never miss, huh?”

Now things are getting deep. Sure, the tone of the spoken lyric seem playful, teasing and full of satire, but only a true mathematician could understand the subtle diss woven deep within these few words. “I guess you never miss, huh?” In binomial probability, we could assume the chances of hitting or missing are 50/50 respectively, but not 100% for any single attempt, as it is always possible to miss, even if you are Wiz Khalifa. This also means that after any number n attempts, it is impossible to have a 100% chance of successfully hitting every time, aka never missing. The artist is stating that the claims that the person of interest are stating about their circumstances have largely been dramatized and are not as stable for them as they seem. They go on to state that their boyfriend probably doesn’t kiss them, a safe bet to make given their opponent’s inability to think logically. They go on to reject the null hypothesis, that they have a stable and secure relationship and accept the alternative hypothesis that their man could find another girl and they won’t miss ya. Given the absolute depth, insight, and genius the artist has displayed within such a short satirical lyrical segment, I can conclude the that the artist is a math Wiz Khalifa and has earned their right to stand and hit a dab.
