What do you mean younger kids can’t appreciate older Pixar films?

(I was born in 2001, 2 years before Finding Nemo came out)

Back when I was like 8 or 9, I absolutely adored Pixar, and not just the films, the technology and creative process that went into their films. I still remember my dad renting the Pixar Shorts Collection for me on DVD, as well as watching some of the bonus content that came on the disc. Hell, I specifically rented Ratatouille, not for the full film, but rather for one of the shorts on it, just so I could prove to myself that Wall-E was indeed hidden as an easter egg in that short. I constantly read about Pixar’s history on wikipedia, I watched all of their short films that were published both in Cinemas and on DVDS, and I watched a shit ton of Youtube videos about Pixar subjects, mainly WALL-E, which was my favorite Pixar movie at the time. My dad even brought me home a Luxor lamp that his office had lying around, just because he knew I loved one of Pixar’s original shorts so much. Hell, Pixar even encouraged me to start exploring animation for a bit, and for I while I was doing Lego Stop Motion animations, as I found them easiest and simplest to do. Despite the fact I don’t do anything related to animation nowadays, I don’t regret the experience I had with Stop Motion Animation. I was all over that shit as a child, and not just the movies.

And nowadays, we have asshats like these jerk bags who say us youth can’t fully appreciate older Pixar titles, or the process that goes into making them? Are you kidding me? Seriously? If this film came out when I was around 8 or 9, I probably would have been all over it.

I’m done. /rant
