I like how people consider spelling and grammar a sophisticated process. Or even better the amazing ability of redditors to point out what is a burn.

To be honest lets talk about some actual facts about the mind, the more complicated society gets, the more the individual becomes akin to a cog. This is because complex processes that are “designed” often require amazingly simplistic parts. The guy picking up the garbage in your neighborhood doesn’t need any amount of the high school math he was forcefully educated and thus many brains/minds become numb before even being fully developed. We all know this fact, it’s the same reason people cop-out saying they were “just doing their jobs” (be it cops, teachers, or bosses) — simply because they work in a complex mechanism where the individual isn’t given much if any freedom of choice.

So yes… this is the internet and its full of idiots but spelling… I know autistic who can run you into the ground intellectually but fuck if they can spell or communicate in such manners without serious support.

Do you get it? Probably not but here is another example. Everyone here is using a computer but how many people here could create a simple computer from the bottom up. Even if given the hardware diagram, told the assembler language, and given any tools necessary, most people haven’t a clue. This is because we, as a society, believe in the division of labor. You know what doesn’t believe in this, Watson — he can play jeapordy just as good as he can diagnose cancer because instead of building a knowledge base in a narrow field, he is doing it on large tracts of information and then correlating that information without bias (he doesn’t care that someone said your vs you’re because he understand that these mistakes can be made and the high level message still perfectly understandable — do you think Watson’s input is only perfectly spelled, grammatically clear, input — pssha). We still have to come up with causation (as such machines cannot touch this yet) but it’s still better then twats believing their educated because they know the difference between you’re and your or affect and effect. Come on this is language, learn a dozen and then I might think your special.

EDIT: In the end, I reflect on the actuality that I love computers more than humans because as Einstein said, the only two things that are infinite are the universe and human stupidity, then he self corrects to say I am not so sure about the former (and he was right again — the universe isn’t infinite and you can enlighten people by reflecting on the actuality that we live in what is a finite but unbounded universe… everyone knows relativity but less that 1% know we live in a finite but unbounded universe, much less know what that entails). Humans are just stupid, social biases (e.g. society) only making them stupidier, and they will laugh at us as we bicker over silly concepts like you’re vs your — and for me, I laugh with the computers.
